The Cotwolds Victorian Home – Tom Howley Kitchen Interior Design

We have worked with this client for the past 2 years on various parts of their home.

We recently finished this exquisite TOM HOWLEY kitchen for our clients. Furnish was responsible for the design of the kitchen in conjunction with Tom Howley. We added bespoke elements to the cabinetry, had it painted in Mole’s Breath and sourced more industrial style handles than were available from BUSTER AND PUNCH. The flooring is a parquet ceramic from MANDARIN STONE which we laid in herringbone pattern. The whole area has under floor heating, arranged by ourselves and laid after various building and demolition works had been completed. The central chimney breast used to be plastered and painted which we found austere so decided to clad this with brick slips. We also arranged the builder and project managed this phase. We always knew that the lights were going to have to be special. The space is very tall and the lights needed to fill their central location and be of a design that fitted the brief – warm with industrial hints. We had the stools designed by a furniture designer and are totally unique. We designed the cushions and sourced the leather and supplier to have them made. The extractor is also a bespoke item that we designed and sourced.
